Créé en application de la loi du 14 novembre 2016, le Comité d’éthique veille eu respect de ces principes à travers différents moyens :
Le Comité peut être saisi par les auditeurs de Radio France de toute question entrant dans son champ de compétence, à savoir le respect de l’indépendance et du pluralisme de l’information et des programmes au sein de Radio France ;
Le Comité peut, de sa propre initiative, engager des travaux sur des sujets d’actualité ou qui recouvrent une importance particulière, au regard des enjeux d'honnêteté, d'indépendance et de pluralisme qui touchent Radio France ;
Le Comité doit informer l’ARCOM (ex CSA) de tout fait susceptible de contrevenir aux principes d’indépendance, d’honnêteté et de pluralisme.
