2. Editorial Mission
2.1. Editorial Mission Statement
The Media Outlet shall disclose its editorial mission statement which shall be consistent with the fundamental ethical principles of trustworthy journalism, and, as described in the Preamble, should incorporate principles of: ethical practice, good governance, self-regulation and Engagement with the public. A Media Outlet shall set out how it proposes to uphold these journalism principles through its Editorial Guidelines and processes which shall include arrangements in relation to internal accountability and of appropriate external accountability (see clauses 9 – 15). Best practice is to have these arrangements codified and made available publicly.

Our Mission
Regions TV is dedicated to delivering accurate and objective international, national, and regional news, with a special focus on Armenia’s underreported communities. We work in areas where media presence is limited, aiming to bridge the information gap and give a voice to those often unheard. Our mission is to protect freedom of speech, promote participatory democracy, and produce diverse multimedia content—from news and documentaries to debates and analytical programs. We aim to inform the public, encourage civic engagement, and spotlight local challenges to drive solutions.
Editorial Principles
1. Accuracy – We rely on verified facts from trustworthy sources. All information is cross-checked by our editors and journalists to ensure credibility.
2. Independence – Our work is free from political or external influence. We maintain editorial autonomy and uphold journalistic integrity.
3. Objectivity – We provide balanced reporting, giving space to different perspectives. Our journalists are free to choose their topics and report without interference.
4. Public Interest – We prioritize stories that reflect the needs and rights of the public, consistently following up on important issues until solutions are reached.
5. Respect and Dignity – We treat our audience, sources, and partners with respect, rejecting discrimination, bias, and misinformation.
